Student Life

Students are immersed in a brotherhood at Catholic Memorial that allows everyone to be themself. Each boy here feels comfortable and has a sense of belonging.

The camaraderie among the students and the approachability of the faculty ease students’ transitions into the school community. The Student Life program deepens these connections.

Students have opportunities to explore their interests and talents in art, music, acting, leadership, and service, and are encouraged to discover new ones. Through participation in activities, programs, and societies, students also form new connections with fellow students and faculty.

“I love getting to know the younger students. It allows me to be an older brother for them, really.

Celebrating Those Who Served Us

“The funerals that we host are ways that we bring our ethos, our vision, and our character to life.  The act itself inspires them and helps them to see the world broader than themselves.”

Veteran Funerals at CM

CM began hosting funerals for veterans who died with no living friends or family in November of 2017 when senior Peer Ministers laid to rest Army veteran John T. Fitzmaurice.

Since then, Campus Ministry has offered the service to numerous student groups on campusInspired by Lazarus Ministrythe service teaches students how to advocate for those living on the margins, serve whole-heartedly, and love unconditionally.

CM partners with Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home for the planning purposes of each funeralEvery service begins with students serving as pallbearers and concludes with an honorary presentation of the American flag to the deceased.
