The application essay is one of the many important requirements to apply to Catholic Memorial. The Admissions Committee evaluates the essay as a writing sample and looks for age-appropriate development of ideas, vocabulary, sentence structure, and grammar. Take advantage of this course to present yourself well through your writing.
The course will consist of three classes. Each class will include lessons on effective writing, time to work on your essay, and feedback from the teacher. The two-week gap between the first and second class is designed so students can complete a draft of the essay to work with at the following meeting.
The course is open to any student who is applying to Catholic Memorial.
