    Mr. Verdaguer moved to the United States from Patagonia, Argentina when he was nine-years-old. He appreciates and embraces the many aspects of American culture while maintaining the customs, values, and traditions of his native country. He has directedCM’s Knights of the Round Table multi-cultural group and has been a featured speaker at CM’s Agape Latte program. He is married to his wife,Femaris. Together, they have two boys, Matías and Luis. During his undergraduate studies at Boston College, Mr. Verdaguer captained the varsity track team at BC and received the Archbishop Romero Scholarship.

    Br. Cavet began his ministry with the Christian Brothers as a teacher at Essex Catholic in New Jersey from 1970-1971. Since then, he has taught at Christian Brothers schools in New York and Michigan and has served as the principal of Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School in Florida. While at CM, he has helped guide the speech and debate team to two consecutive State Championships. He also played a significant role in founding the school’s Irish Studies Program.

    Mr. Clark taught several courses in Greek and Latin during his postgraduate studies at Tufts University. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The College of the Holy Cross and rowed for the school’s varsity crew team. He studied abroad in Buenos Aires, speaks fluent Spanish, and hailsfrom Connecticut.

    Ms. Concannon founded CM’s Irish Studies Program, the only high school program outside of the European Union that offers an Irish language elective. She has led numerous immersion trips to Ireland for CM students, faculty, and alumni and regularly hosts government officials from Ireland at CM. As a part of her program, Ms. Concannon teaches Irish I and Irish II. She was instrumental in the development of CM’s middle school. In the CMmiddle school, sheserves as the guidance counselor.

    Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning

    Ms. Megan Laughlin (Leahy) is Vice-Principal of Teaching and Learning at CM. In this role, she oversees teacher evaluation, faculty coaching, the registrar functions, and the professional development program. Before starting at CM, Ms. Leahy served as the World Language Department Chair at The Fessenden School and Mt. Alvernia. She earned her undergraduate and master’s degree from Boston College. She also earned her principal certification through Boston College’s Lynch Leadership Academy.

    Mr. Ricardo Mora teaches Spanish. He previously worked at Suffolk University where he was a teaching assistant and an interpreter at Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Mora is originally from the Dominican Republic where he attended Catholic school. Mr. Mora is a graduate of Suffolk and a member of the Psi Chi Honors Society and the Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society.

    Mr. Jon Sheehan joined CM after teaching at BB&N and working for the Ministry of Education in Spain. He has spent many summers directing the Wolfeboro Camp School in New Hampshire. Mr. Sheehan is a graduate of Bates College where he majored in Spanish and political science. He was a three-season varsity athlete at Bates competing in cross country and track. He is also a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School. He teaches Spanish and is the assistant varsity track coach and head middle school cross country coach.

    Mr. Tobin arrived at CM in 1985 as the school’s JV basketball coach and began teaching in 1992. When CM opened its middle school in 1993, he taught its students Latin and a variety of humanities courses. Since 2001, he has served as the head coach of the varsity basketball team and has won two State Championships and eight League Championships. Mr. Tobin’s three sons are CM alumni.
