CM defeats Needham in South Sectional First Round

It was another huge night for Catholic Memorial running backs in the First Round of the South Sectional tournament.

Juniors Shiloh White (132 yards, two touchdowns) and Darrius LeClair (72 yards and one touchdown) led the top-ranked Knights (8-0) to a 42-0 win over eight-seed Needham (2-6) at Jim O'Connor Stadium. 

Senior 
Jamall Griffin broke the game open when he ran for a 70- yard touchdown to give the Knights a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Griffin also picked off a pass on defense 

On a night where the rushing game dominated, Barrett Pratt connected with Junior Tommy Leonard for a 15-yard touchdown in the second quarter to solidify the Knights’ win.
