West Roxbury, Mass.-- Devon Marshall's 89-yard touchdown on a punt return before halftime propelled Catholic Memorial (9-0) to a 27-16 win over BC High (5-4) in the South Sectional Semifinals on Friday night.
On a night where the temperature dropped below freezing, the Knights run game proved too much for the Eagles’ defense. Darrius LeClair (8 rushes, 55 yards) tallied two touchdowns.
Barret Pratt (8/10, 78 yards, 1 TD) also connected with Junior Quincy Eutsay (3 receptions, 45 yards) for a 3-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
After being down 27-0 at the half, the Eagles rallied, with Junior Bobby Wiesenhahn (9/19, 118 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT) finding Junior Loius Timmons and Senior Jacob Perez in the end zone.
The Knights will face Franklin in the South Sectional Final on next Friday.
