    Mr. Murray oversaw and directed the implementation of the school’s Innovation Lab. He has coached soccer, swimming, and baseball and has played a pivotal role in executing the middle school’s critical making curriculum. He served as the Director of the Brother Edmund Rice Solidarity Initiative and the Director of Student Activities earlier in his CM career.

    Mr. Carey played on the varsity baseball team at Harvard College. He is also a member of the CM  Athletics Hall of Fame.At CM, he moderates the middle school math team, coachesmiddle school basketball, and coaches the varsity baseball team. He has also assisted numerous campus ministry retreats and programs, including the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. He has been married to his wife Meredith for 10 years and has two daughters, Claire (5) and Reese (3).

    Mr. Fahey joined CM's mathematics department in 2021. He received his BA in math and philosophy from Boston College where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and became a Dean's Scholar, as well as a National Merit Scholar. Mr. Fahey helps run the SAT Math Prep Club and assists with the CM band.

    Mr. Finn, a former All-American crosscountry runner at CM in 1988, returned to CM after a career in business. At CM, he has taught science and social studies and has served as the head coach of the varsity soccer team. As head coach, he won a State Championship in 2009. He has also served as an assistant coach for the outdoor and indoor track and field teams. Outside of coaching and teaching, he has led the annual Blessed Edmund Rice Solidarity Initiative to Washington, D.C. He lives in Dedham and has two daughters.

    Mr. Al Murphy joins our Admission Office as its Associate Director of Admission. Al has been a long-standing faculty member and administrator at Belmont Hill. He served previously as the interim Director of the Middle School, Associate Director of Athletics, Head Form Advisor, Member of the Discipline Committee, Varsity Basketball coach, and math teacher. He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees from Boston College and serves on the Board of St. Joseph’s School in Needham.

    Ms. Riley served as the Assistant Principal at Elizabeth Seton Academy in Dorchester prior to her arrival at CM. In this capacity, she mentored new teachers, designed faculty evaluations, oversaw curriculum, and ministered to all students in grades 9-12. She has taught mathematics at every level and served as the Mathematics Department Chair at a high school in the West Indies. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics as well as the Catholic Educators Association. In 1992, she earned a Fulbright Scholarship that brought her to Barbados to teach and study.

    Ms. Erin Tucker joined CM’s mathematics department in 2022 after spending ten years at Revere High School. Ms. Tucker earned the Massachusetts STEM Teacher of the Year Award in 2018. She graduated from Harvard University with a degree in mathematics. At Harvard, she was a varsity athlete competing in track and field. She earned her master’s degree in education from Boston University where she was recognized as a Robert J. Noyce Scholar.
