Catholic Memorial moves up a rung in the Niche.com rankings to new heights.
In the newly released 2026 national rankings of the college and K-12 school finder platform, Niche.com, Catholic Memorial has taken three big jumps to climbing its way into the conversation on the State’s best Catholic schools and the State’s best all-boys schools.
The new listings shows that CM has jumped over Boston College High School, landing at #4 in the “Best Catholic High Schools in Massachusetts” category, up two spots from last year. There are 34 schools in this group. In the “Best All-Boys High Schools in Massachusetts,” CM once again leapt over Boston College High School to take the fifth spot out of eight recognized schools. And finally, the school has jumped another spot from #5 to #4 in the category for "Best High Schools for Athletes in Massachusetts."
This unprecedented run began five years ago when the school’s rankings weren’t what they are today. Through the hard work of the faculty, administration, our school leaders and the CM board all maintaining and raising standards, engaging students, keeping to the measure of excellence as our standard, and never losing sight of our Christian Brother’s mission, Catholic Memorial finds itself in the same conversation as Roxbury Latin, St. Sebastian’s School, St. John’s Prep, and Belmont Hill.
With Admissions season in full swing and with Open Houses across Boston soon to opening their doors to a new wave of prospective families, Catholic Memorial is no longer an unsung hero in Catholic boys’ education, it’s now a legitimate contender as one of the best of the best.
