"Winning the Division I State Basketball Championship was the most memorable moment from my years at CM.  While I was not on the team, the atmosphere in the student section was electric.  After losing the year before in the "Final Four" of the tournament, the win for the school was that much sweeter, and the feeling of a brotherhood was greatest at this moment." 

What is so special about the CM experience? 
"I believe that the faith based education as well as my experiences in various extracurriculars that I received at Catholic Memorial has prepared me for success in college at Villanova University and beyond.  The smaller student body allowed for strong relationships with many of my teachers, and a brotherhood-like atmosphere among my fellow students.  The emphasis of service and leadership with the example of Blessed Edmund Rice significantly impacted me as I worked in my community and led my teammates on the volleyball court. And finally, the speech and debate program caused my confidence in public speaking to grow tremendously, from a kid scared to raise his hand in class to someone performing  in front of a gym full of parents and students at the annual Afternoon of Exceptional Oratory."
