Six student-athletes from Catholic Memorial School celebrated their own virtual signings from their homes on the April 15th National Signing Day.
Surrounded by their family, the six student-athletes, all seniors, will play at the collegiate level next year in their respective sports. For the names of each student-athlete, please refer to the list below:
Spencer Aronson, Endicott College (Basketball): A junior transfer to CM from Lawrence Academy, Spencer earned a Catholic Conference All-Star nod in his one season on the basketball team.
Zachary Goodwin, Bentley University (Football): Zach, a senior captain and Catholic Conference All-Star, played a vital role in anchoring the offensive line during the football team’s historic two-year run.
Charlie Nascimben, College of the Holy Cross (Swimming): A Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic, Charlie won the first-ever individual State Championship in the swim team’s history this winter.
Declan O’Sullivan, Catholic University (Basketball):Declan, a Catholic Conference All-Star and captain during his senior season, helped lead the basketball team to consecutive playoff appearances.
Barrett Pratt, Endicott College (Football): Barrett, a Catholic Conference All-Star quarterback, guided the football team to back-to-back appearances in the Division 1 Super Bowl.
Matthew Sokol, Merrimack College (Football): A member of the football team’s first Catholic Conference title since 1987, Matthew’s clutch field goals and extra points will make an impression at the NCAA’s Division 1 level.
