    Head Coach: Harold Carey

The baseball program at CM began in 1959 with Coach Ronald S. Perry, assisted by Brother Tom Feerick.

In the 1962 season, CM baseball was elevated to the Catholic Central League (Class B) and won the League Championship with a 12-2 league record.  Ed McElaney '62 was chosen to the Hearst All-Star Team and Skip Lockwood would open the eyes of professional scouts with his unbelievable talents at such a young age.  He would eventually play in the major leagues and the Boston Red Sox.

In 1971, Perry retired as head coach with a cumulative record of 186-53.

Perry was succeeded as coach by his most able assistant, Ed McElaney. McElaney would coach CM's only state championship team in 1973. In 1990, Coach Alex Campea P'09 took over. Coach Campea's squads made the South Finals in 1993 and 2001, winning the conference championship in 1993, 1994 and 2002.
In 2005, Hal Carey ’95, who captained the Harvard College team as an undergraduate there, took over as head coach of CM Baseball.  Carey, an All-Scholastic shortstop for CM in his time, went on to play second base for Harvard.

Carey's teams have been in the South Finals twice - in 2009 and 2010 - and have appeared in the playoffs 15 of the last 16 years including the inaugural Super 8 Tournament in 2014.
