Every fall, 7th graders at Catholic Memorial are given a unique challenge. They receive $10 from CM, which they then use to donate to any cause of their choice  be it a charity, a loved one, or a perfect stranger. The only requirement is that they find a meaningful way to "Pay It Foward." Then, the students write short essays about how they decided to spend their $10, and why it was meaningful to them.

Hear CM math teacher Mr. Carey, who started this project on Baker Street, explain how he came up with the idea, and how the boys have taken to this assignment over the years.
