Marshall Named Catholic Conference Track and Field MVP
It's the second Conference MVP title for Marshall, who also received the honor for football.
DANVERS, MASS. — For the second time this school year, Devon Marshall ‘22 is a Catholic Conference MVP.
With a conference MVP award for football already in his trophy case, Marshall received the Catholic Conference Track and Field MVP award following a trifecta of wins at the conference championship meet at St. John’s Prep.
Marshall took first place in the 200 (22.32), long jump (22-01.75), and the 4x100 (42.79) along with Alex Cole ‘22, Eric Perkins ‘24, and Datrell Jones ‘23. Overall, the team finished in fourth place with the hosts taking first place.
With the award, a CM athlete has won all three MVP awards for track and cross country this year. CJ Sullivan '23 was named the MVP for cross country and the indoor track seasons.

First place finishes also went to Jones, who bested the field in the 100 (11.16), and CJ Sullivan, who won the 2-mile with a time of 9:43.96.
Other top placements include fifth-place finishes from Perkins in the 100 (11.94), Cole in the 200 (23.86), Dean Simmons ‘22 in the two-mile (10:17.76), Matt Rios ‘23 in the triple jump (40-01), and Sirio Jansen-Sanchez ‘22 in the javelin (136-09).
In the Freshmen/Sophomore Division, Will Claude won the 100 (12.08) and joined Adrian Casso, Jonathan Osinski, and Lenier Pachardo for a first-place finish in the 4x100 (46.87). Second-place finishes went to Oskinski in the 100 (12.18) and 200 (24.50), Jack Gill in the discus (108-02), and James Mullin (39-01) in the shot put.
