Annual giving, which is sought through CM’s annual fund program, provides unrestricted support for the school’s operating budget. This type of support underwrites everything that makes Catholic Memorial special: scholarships, faculty development, curricular enrichment, a broad range of extra-curricular activities, class retreats and much more. Alumni, parents, and friends of the school can make an annual gift by clicking on Make a Gift
or by responding to the school’s annual solicitation mailings.
Capital support is more targeted than annual giving. An example of capital support is the renovation of existing facilities or construction of new facilities. Another focus is endowment: establishing new endowments or augmenting existing endowments. The minimum size of a gift to establish a named endowment which will receive annual stewardship reports is $50,000.

The most common type of a planned gift is a bequest. A bequest is a gift through your Will or Living Trust that costs you nothing now but provides support to Catholic Memorial School after your lifetime. Bequests offer flexibility and can be structured to fit your personal situation. The gift is revocable, so you can change your mind at any time should your circumstances change. You can make a bequest of cash, marketable securities, real estate, or personal property such as art or jewelry.

FOUNDATION AND CORPORATE SUPPORT
Catholic Memorial is actively involved in identifying and appealing to foundations whose guidelines align with our school’s mission. The same pertains to corporate support. If friends of CM believe they could be helpful with this type of support, please contact the Catholic Memorial School at (617)-469-8017
GIFTS OF TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY
Catholic Memorial welcomes gifts of tangible personal property provided there is no burdensome financial or service obligation involved.
