How to Apply

Submit an Online Inquiry

To start the admissions process at Catholic Memorial, please submit an online inquiry form. You will be added to our email list for notifications of important events and deadlines.

Register for the Entrance Exam

Grade 9 Applicants are required to take the HSPT (High School Placement Test).  Applicants may sit for the test at any high school in the Archdiocese of Boston. Tests scores may be sent to a maximum of five different high schools. Catholic Memorial's code is 13. The testing fee is $40.00. The exam is administered at Catholic Memorial on:
  • Saturday, October 27, 2018
  • Saturday, November 18, 2018
To register for the HSPT, please click here.
The HSPT is the preferred test for grade 9. Applicants can submit results for either the SSAT (upper Level) or ISEE (upper level) in lieu of HSPT results, but CM is not a test site for either of these tests.

Catholic Memorial's code for the SSAT is 2227 and the ISEE code is 222363.

Attend Open House

Sunday, October 14, 2018
Open House is an opportunity for families to view Catholic Memorial School. Small, student-led tours will guide families through our campus, stopping for brief presentations by our academic departments.

Coaches, club moderators, and student representatives from our athletic teams and clubs will be available to answer any questions. Pre-registration is recommended, but not required.

Visit Catholic Memorial

Applicants to Catholic Memorial are required to visit Catholic Memorial through the "Knight for a Day" Program or sit for a "Student Interview" with a member of the Admissions Staff.

Knight for a Day: Catholic Memorial invites all prospective students to experience a day in the life of a Catholic Memorial student by becoming a “Knight for a Day.” Visiting students will be matched with a Catholic Memorial student based on academic and extra-curricular interests.
Being a Knight for a Day gives prospective students the opportunity to see our campus, attend classes, meet CM students and teachers, enjoy a complimentary lunch in our new student commons and construct a project in our Innovation Lab.

Student Interview: Applicants may choose to schedule an interview in lieu of attending Knight for a Day, although we strongly recommend all applicants experience a day in the life of a CM student. The interview will last approximately 45 minutes during which time, parents will have the opportunity to speak with a member of the Admissions Staff.

Knight for a Day visits and Interviews may be scheduled through your Ravenna account once the Parent Application Form has been submitted.
