Rough Sleepers

tells the true story of Dr. Jim O’Connell, a gifted man who built a community of care for Boston’s unhoused population. In this book, the reader travels with Dr. Jim as he navigates Boston, offering medical care, socks, soup, humor, and friendship to some of the city’s most endangered citizens, emphasizing a style of medicine in which patients come first.
