Tuesday 12/16/08 *Xaverian Brothers High School (at RLC) Home L 63-32
CM Winter Track fell to Xaverian, 63-32, at the Reggie Lewis Center in its first dual meet. Sean Mahoney '09 and Tim McLaughlin '10 won 1st and 2nd place in the shot put, Chinedu Chukwu '10 won the 55-meter event, and Nahed Lakkis '09 won both the mile and the 1,000-meter events. "We had a lot of great performances at the beginning of the season today," said Coach Vin Catano.
Sunday 01/04/09 Auerbach Fr./So.Meet at RLC Away
Over 1,300 freshman and sophomore athletes competed in the Auerbach meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.

CM won five of the ten events: Ed Colvin '10 (1-mile, 2-mile), Sean Mahoney '09 (shot put), Ryan Pai '09 (55-meter hurdles), Lance Murray '10 (long jump).

Ed Colvin '10 recorded a state-meet qualifying time of 9:38 in the 2-mile event, a personal best for him, at the meet versus BC High on 1/20. Nahed Lakkis '09 won both the mile event and the 1,000-meter event.
Sunday 01/25/09 State Relays Div. II at RLC Away
lacing 8th in the Distance Medley were Nahed Lakkis '09, Lance Murray '10, Nick Leney '11 and Ed Colvin '10. Placing 9th in the Shot Put were Eoin Gillespie '09, Tim McLaughlin '10 and Sean Mahoney '09.

Ryan Pai '09 came in 2nd place in the 55-meter event with a personal best time of 7.99 seconds.
Sunday 02/01/09 Elite Meet at RLC Away
Ed Colvin '10 came in 6th place in the 2-mile event with a time of 9:39. Nahed Lakkis '09 came in 13th place in the 1-mile event with a time of 4:29. At the Elite Meet, Bill Martin '75 was inducted in a brief ceremony into this year's class at the MSTCA Athletes' Hall of Fame. He was previously inducted into the Catholic Memorial School Hall of Fame in November.

Ed Colvin '10 placed first in the mile. Nahed Lakkis '09 (1000-meter) and Ryan Pai '09 (55-meter, Hurdles) also won their events.

Nahed Lakkis '09 recorded a personal best in his third-place finish in the 1000-meter event (2:38:11);Ed Colvin '10 came in 2nd in the 2-mile event (9:42); Lance Murray came in 6th in the long jump. In the freshman/sophomore events, James Schmidlein '11 came in 3rd place in the 2-mile event.
Sunday 02/22/09 State meet Div. II at RLC
Nahed Lakkis '09 came in 2nd place in the 1000-meter event (2:36.85), while Ed Colvin '10 came in 3rd place in the 2-mile event (9:36:89). Both times were personal bests for the runners, who head to All-States on 2/27. Ryan Pai '09 also competed in the meet, coming in 12th (out of 23) in the 55-meter hurdle event with a time of 8.32 seconds.
Friday 02/27/09 All-State meet at RLC
Nahed Lakkis '09 recorded a personal best in the 1000-meter event (2:33.73), coming in 9th place overall. Ed Colvin '10 came in 8th place in the 2-mile event (9:39.63).
