Result Sheets for 2009 Central/South Sectionals are out. Click here to read them.

CM finished in 15th place at the Central/South Sectional meet scoring a school best 32 points. The 200 Medley Relay team finished 10th, and the 200 Free Relay team took 7th place. Captains Sean Farrell '09, James Myers '09, and John Mackie '10 as well as Ryan Clifford '11 and Matt Farrell '11 participated in the relays.

The swimming program began in 1963 under head coach Brother Asquith. Brother Vesey, Jim Locke, Brother Malone, and Kevin Foley coached many outstanding swimmers through the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1980s, the program was headed by coaches Dan Rhineart, Fran Sullivan, and Dacey.

In the 1990s, Coach Chris Curtin, Quinn, Baldwin, and Brother Casey led the program. In 2002, former top swimmer Jason Ford led the squad, and Coach Chris Boyle took over as head coach in 2004.
