The team matched up evenly throughout the game. It was close throughout, with the lead changing several times. Down by two with two minutes left, CM let in one more score and wasn't able to rebound. Overall, the team continues to improve.
Wednesday 05/04/11    North Quincy High School     Home 4:30PM W 26-12
CM began to dominate the game in the first half, taking an early lead with strong offense by Brian Ziniti '11. Leading 14-7 at the half, the team fell prey to penalties before again settling in and scoring. Up 19-12 with North Quincy pressing to tie it, Pat Carney '11 made his third conversion to make it 26-12, and North Quincy didn't recover. The team finished the regular season 2-2 in the conference.

The team first faced Needham, who used their size, age and weight against CM to play an outstanding game of rugby. In the first half, against the run of play, Needham scored a breakaway try. After halftime, the Knights bounced back and equalized with an amazing drive up the field, and Needham giving away a penalty five meters from their line. CM scored from the penalty to make it 5-5. They held off Needham inches from their own try and in the closing minutes came close to finishing off with a score. With the score tied, the rules therefore had each side take a goal kick. CM missed, Needham scored. CM then played Scituate. With several injuries, and despite a very brave performance, the Knights lost 17-5.
