When he was 19 years old, Mike Intoccia ’85 studied for his builder’s license to pursue what he loved and was best at: building custom homes.
Three decades later, Intoccia, a recipient of the Better Business Bureau’s 2005 Member Achievement Award, has earned a reputation as one of the best builders and developers in the state. Besides his construction business, Intoccia has also expanded his real estate holdings to include restaurants, function halls and apartment complexes.
Over the last decade, Intoccia has worked with over a dozen towns in developing housing solutions, at both the high-end and affordable levels, for their residents. In 2007, Intoccia began plans to build the first shopping and residential destination in the town of Sharon, called Sharon Commons, which is currently still in development.
