Transportation
Catholic Memorial Transportation Services will undergo relatively few changes from the 2010/11 school year.
- Vendor: CM will continue to work with Local Motion of Boston to provide transportation services for the 2011/12 school year.
- Cost: The cost of CM Round Trip Transportation Service is $1,500. Round trip payment includes Late Bus service. One way service is $850.
- Single Ride: Students needing periodic transportation service will pay for a $10 single ride ticket.
- Late Bus: CM will offer a shuttle service to four commuter rail stations. The Late Bus will leave Baker Street at 5:15 PM. Late Bus service will be available daily throughout the school year. The CM cafeteria will remain open as a study hall and supervised by CM faculty until the late bus leaves.
- Ursuline Academy: Catholic Memorial will continue the transportation partnership with Ursuline Academy.
Rules & Regulations: As stated in the CM Parent/Student Handbook, Catholic Memorial Rules of Conduct are enforceable on the bus. Any students breaking these rules will be disciplined by CM. CM reserves the right to refuse service to students who violate the Rules of Conduct. Families will not be granted refunds for students removed from the CM Transportation Service.
CM Transportation Passes will be handed out to students during orientation week. CM will charge a $10 replacement fee for lost Transportation Passes. For Late Bus Service, students with Transportation Passes will sign up for the Late Bus in the Main Office during the day, first come, first served. Students without Transportation Passes can purchase single ride tickets in the Assistant Athletic Director’s Office after school for $10, if available.
One way passengers who use morning transportation will be charged the single ride $10 fee for afternoon service. Students will pay cash for this service. Tickets will be available in the Assistant Athletic Director’s Office.
