CM Opened its doors on September 9, 1957.
810 student enrollment in grades 7-12
Over 9,500 alumni
10-acre campus in West Roxbury
12:1 student-faculty ratio
20% minority student population
16 varsity sports, 48 athletic teams
70% faculty with or attaining graduate degrees
Over 20 state and sectional championships in individual sports
6 National Championships in Hockey
Over $1 million annually given in financial aid
Over 30 afterschool clubs and activities
80 cities and towns from which students come to study
$5 million in college scholarships and grants awarded to 2008 graduating class
CM offers over 31 Honors and AP courses and field over 48 competitive athletic teams.
100% of our graduates are accepted to four-year colleges. CM students have recently been accepted to such schools as Harvard University, U.S. Air force Academy. Brown University, Boston College, New York University, Boston College, the College of the Holy Cross, the University of Notre Dame, William and Mary and Williams College.
CM also has scores of clubs from drama to chess to Yearbook to newspaper.
CM is composed of an experienced, dedicated faculty. 95% of our faculty coach or moderate extracurricular activities.
17 of our teachers are CM alums. We have 5 PhDs on staff. Most of our teachers have at least one Master’s degree.
CM is a Catholic school that cultivates leadership and service towards others.
CM is a small, academic community of care and concern. Here we know each other by name.
Students at CM come to us from over 90 different communities—from Waltham to Pembroke to Plymouth to Bellingham.
CM students travel to such diverse locales as Montreal, El Salvador, Europe, Puerto Rico, and Peru. This past summer, forty Middle School students participated in a ten-day “Wild West” travel experience to the American west that included the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park. In August, sixteen CM students participated in the BERSI trip to Chicago.
